The Katsina State Government has approved the recruitment of 150 nurses to improve the delivery of healthcare services to people across the 34 local government areas of the state.

On erosion threat across the state, Governor Aminu Bello Masari said over 5 billion naira was spent on drainages and culverts construction at different locations.
Governor Aminu Bello Masari said empowerment programme were introduced, especially for youth and women to become self-reliant.
On Songhai project in Dutsinma and Funtua, the Governor said that an agreement has been reached with Dangote and Jino Companies to run the project and pay rent to the State Government.
